While one character in this novel shows traits that may resemble narcissistic behavior, this is a work of fiction. The outcome in this story does not reflect how most real-life situations involving these traits tend to unfold.

These sensitive topics are not to be taken lightly, and it is my hope that I approached them with the care and respect they deserve.

If you or anyone you know is experiencing depression or in a mentally, emotionally, or physically abusive relationship, do not hesitate to seek help. Your mental health matters.

Beneath The Ashes is the second book in the Maple Hollows Series and begins approximately three months before the start of In Between the Echoes. This book takes place in a fictional town on the East Coast.

While you can read Beneath the Ashes as a stand alone, I highly recommend reading In Between the Echoes first, as this book does contain spoilers for book one.
